Advanced Rehabilitation have teamed up with the Biokineticists at iMude Sport & Wellness and our highly skilled and experienced therapists will guide you through your entire treatment and rehabilitation journey. 

Andries graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2004. He completed his community service year at the Johannesburg General Hospital and then moved to the UK where he initially worked in musculoskeletal outpatients within the NHS in Manchester, and then in the world renowned King's College Hospital in London. During this time he completed the Manipulative Association Of Chartered Physiotherapy (MACP) Diploma - equivalent to the OMT course in SA. In 2007 he went into full time private practice, working in musculoskeletal outpatients as well as occupational health, managing large corporate contracts for clients such as Investec Bank, the British Airport Authority (BAA) and the John Lewis Partnership. In 2010 he was appointed clinical lead physiotherapist and practice manager at a large multidisciplinary clinic in Wimbledon (PhysioSW19) where he worked until 2017.

Andries decided to move back to South Africa in 2017 and opened Advanced Rehabilitation Parkmore in June 2017. He has extensive experience in treating the general population as well as professional sportsmen and women, including triathletes, rugby union and league teams, and working with the Surrey County Cricket Club (2016/17). He has specialist skills in:

- Biomechanical lower limb and running assessments

- Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy

- Dry needling

- Various sports and orthopaedic taping methods

- Cervical spine treatment (including whiplash)

- Occupational health case management 

- Ergonomic assessment and risk management

- Medicolegal assessments and report writing
